Statement about professional experience

Krissy Dieruf is a school-based therapist for children experiencing grief, trauma, relationship struggles, behavioral issues, attention difficulties, transitions, and other life stressors. She believes that while we are all individuals with our own personalities, experiences, and needs, we also exist within various systems that deeply affect how we see ourselves and engage with the world. Krissy utilizes a child-centered and goal-directed approach to help kids explore, process, and grow. She believes deeply that we are all doing the best we can, even when we make mistakes. And that every child is good inside.

Hobbies

Krissy loves reading, writing, and walking her dog, Loki. And while her first choice is always cozying up with coffee and a good book, her husband and three kids often wrangle her outside to go skiing, surfing, snowmobiling, and hiking. She loves travelling to new places, and even more, coming back home.
