Artability Art Show & Sale
The Artability Art Show & Sale is a special opportunity to celebrate the creative expressions and talents of individuals in our community who use art as a form of healing to support their mental health journey. This year, the event will be held on October 23rd, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Union Depot in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The evening will feature hundreds of unique art pieces, ranging from paintings and sculptures to photography and writing, all available for purchase. A portion of the proceeds will directly support the Artability program, which encourages creativity and mental health support.

You’re Invited: The 2026 Artability Art Show & Sale
The Artability Art Show & Sale celebrates the creativity, individuality, and unique perspectives of Artability artists. It is an opportunity to experience the ways art can bolster mental health, create connection, encourage self-expression, and help us feel seen and valued.
Artability is a program of People Incorporated, whose mission is to support people in living the lives they choose by providing innovative, person-centered services that promote health, independence, and community. Through creative opportunities and community connection, Artability helps bring that mission to life.
Come experience the incredible work of Artability artists and celebrate the people and creativity behind it.

Artwork Viewing & Sale
Explore hundreds of original works, including paintings, drawings, photography, fiber art, mixed media, and more. Purchase a one-of-a-kind piece and directly support an Artability artist.
Interactive Art Activities
Get creative with hands-on activities throughout the evening, including a collaborative painting and an open art station where everyone is invited to make something of their own.
Mini Golf
Take a swing at our special Artability mini golf hole and enjoy a little friendly competition while you explore the show.
Face Painting
Add some color to your evening with a fun and creative face-painting experience.
Caricature Artist
Sit for a one-of-a-kind caricature and take home a playful portrait to remember the evening.
Light Bites & Cash Bar
Enjoy light bites and beverages while you mingle with artists, friends, family, supporters, and community members.

Ambassador Piece
Each year, the Best in Show winning piece will also be the feature artwork and ambassador piece for next year’s Artability Art Show & Sale. For the 2026 year, the ambassador piece is “Coming into the Light” by Saber DeMare!
Scholarships
The Melissa Lewis Scholarship is awarded to emerging female artists of color. This scholarship is chosen by an impartial BIPOC judge based on a short essay submission.
