Access & Recovery Center (ARC)
Access & Recovery Center (ARC)
The Access & Recovery Center (ARC) is one of People Incorporated’s key community access points, connecting individuals experiencing homelessness or housing instability with supportive services and resources. ARC takes a wraparound approach that integrates outreach, ARMHS services, mental health support through our drop-in centers, and community support to meet people where they are.
What We Do
- ARC Outreach: Our outreach team embeds ARMHS services to work directly in the community to engage adults experiencing homelessness, mental illness, or substance use. Outreach staff connect individuals with mental health services, shelter and housing resources, and other community support
- ARC Drop-In: A welcoming space where individuals experiencing homelessness can connect to services. This includes access to community mental health professionals, who are embedded at various community sites and often partner with outreach workers. Showers, single-serve meals, and laundry facilities are available on-site
- Northside Community Support Program: Provides support and connection to services for adults living with mental illness in North Minneapolis. This includes access to community mental health professionals, who are embedded at various community sites and often partner with outreach workers. Single-serve meals and laundry facilities are available on-site.
Our Approach
- Provide one touch point for clients to access multiple services through enhanced integration and care continuity
- Address co-occurring conditions of mental health, substance use, and other complexities with a coordinated, person-centered approach
- Support individuals in navigating healthcare, securing transportation, maintaining housing and employment, and connecting with community resources
- Offer consistent, uninterrupted support as clients stabilize.
