Statement about professional experience

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, and families in building emotional wellness, resilience, and healthy relationships. Prior to working as a school-based therapist, I provided individual, family, and group therapy in residential treatment programs and day treatment settings, supporting youth with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and strengths-based. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where students feel heard, respected, and empowered to develop healthy coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and navigate challenges at school, home, and within their relationships. My clinical work incorporates evidence-based practices, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, trauma-informed care, and interventions informed by EMDR and Brainspotting principles to promote healing and growth. I value partnering with students, families, school staff, and community supports to help each student reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

Hobbies

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature, exploring new restaurants and coffee shops, traveling, and making meaningful memories with family and friends.
