I have a wide range of clinical experiences working with children and adolescents. Throughout my graduate training, I developed strong assessment skills working as a psychometrist for a pediatric neuropsychologist. During my clinical internship at the University of Minnesota, I provided assessment and therapy services in both outpatient pediatric and psychiatry clinics, as well as providing consultation to the inpatient child and adolescent programs. My post-doctoral work has included: providing out-patient therapy in the Psychiatry Clinic at the University of Minnesota; working for a mental-health non-profit organization to provide out-patient therapy within a pediatric clinic. I stepped away from working professionally for an extended time to raise my family, but returned to provide school-based mental health services for the past 5 years.Hobbies
I enjoy singing alto in a choir, reading, and exploring restaurants. I value family time with my husband and two daughters, especially playing board games, working puzzles, and going to performances for live theater and music. I am an animal lover and enjoy quality time with my two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and one cat.Clinical Interests
Services offered in schools:School-Based therapists are trained in a range of treatment interventions and are skilled in providing mental health treatment for concerns including mood, behavior, grief and loss, trauma, adjustment to school or other life/family situations, and interpersonal relationships. Diagnoses treated include, but are not limited to: Adjustment Disorders, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD/trauma disorders, and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.
