Statement about professional experience: For the past six years, I have worked as a school-based therapist, providing mental health services to children in an educational setting. Working in schools has deepened my understanding of trauma-informed care, and the importance of creating safe, supportive environments that promote emotional well-being. My experience has helped develop an ability to build trusting relationships and support children facing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and social challenges. I use many modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy, experiential therapy, narrative therapy, and play therapy techniques. I am trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT).Hobbies
Outside of work, I enjoy playing soccer, spending time with family and friends (and my pets!), and watching Minnesota sports.Clinical Interests
