Statement about professional experience

I have worked in the mental health field for 9 years providing services through peer support, as a mental health practitioner, and now as a mental health therapist. I have experience working with youth and adult populations in assertive community treatment, IRTS, and school-based settings. I am certified as a MAP therapist (Managing and Adapting Practice) and am trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and utilize those in my practice as well as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and trauma informed therapy. I also have provided group therapy in the school.

Hobbies

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, trying new restaurants, and traveling to see family and friends. I love a good game night with family or spending time doing crochet, puzzles, and all things Harry Potter.
