May 1, 2026

Introducing a New Artability Exhibition

This Is Me: Works in Progress

Artability x CFAM x CHIP

We’re excited to announce a new partnership between Artability, the University of Minnesota Center for the Art of Medicine (CFAM), and the Center for Health Interprofessional Programs (CHIP) to present a special exhibition exploring identity, lived experience, and self-expression through portrait-based works.

As part of the exhibition reception, three to five writers will also be selected to present a live reading of a personal narrative connected to the theme, “This Is Me.”

Interested participants must submit a written story for consideration via the submission form. If selected, coaching sessions will be provided by the U of M and the Artability Creative Writing Teaching Artist.

There are also a variety of workshops supporting the new exhibition that will be offered over the next few months and are open to the public.
