One heartwarming example comes from the People Incorporated Corrections Integrated Support Program. A client who spent numerous years in prison worked diligently with the team to secure and find a home. Privacy was vital for the client’s mental health, so People Incorporated used the Client Needs Fund to purchase and install curtains for the client’s new home. When the curtains were finally in place, the client was beaming with pride for his space. One employee expressed joy in supporting clients when they do not know where to turn, saying, “It’s amazing!”
